Free Gift Terms & Conditions
To ensure clarity and fairness, please review the following terms that apply to our current free gift promotion.
1. Promotion Overview
For a limited time, qualifying orders are eligible to receive one complimentary gift based on the final order value.
Gift offerings, qualifying spend thresholds and availability may vary by country, region and currency.
For Australian orders, the current bonus gift tiers are:
- Orders over $100 qualify for an Empty Matcha Tin (RRP $8 AUD)
- Orders over $150 qualify for a Premium Matcha (Uji)/50g Pouch (RRP $19.99 AUD)
- Orders over $200 qualify for a Premium Hojicha Powder (Uji)/50g Pouch (RRP $29.99 AUD)
- Orders over $250 qualify for a SKINES Collagen & Peptide Duo Pouch (RRP $79.99 AUD)
Only one bonus gift applies per order.
2. How Qualification Is Calculated
Bonus gift eligibility is determined by the final order subtotal, calculated:
- After automatic discounts, promotional discounts, and coupon codes
- Before shipping fees and taxes
- After gift cards or store credits are applied
If the final qualifying subtotal falls below the stated threshold, the bonus gift will not be included.
3. Gift Selection Rules
- Orders between $100 and $149.99 receive the Empty Matcha Tin. You will be prompted to select the tin colour and once you click add it to cart, the gift will be added free of charge.
- Orders between $150 and $199.99 receive the Premium Matcha (Uji)/50g Pouch
- Orders between $200 and $249.99 receive the Premium Hojicha Powder (Uji)/50g Pouch
- Orders of $250 and above receive the SKINES Collagen & Peptide Duo Pouch
- Gifts are allocated automatically based on the highest spend tier reached
- Gifts cannot be selected, exchanged, substituted or upgraded
4. One Gift Per Order
- Limit of one gift per order
- Multiple qualifying items in a single order do not result in multiple gifts
- Splitting orders to obtain multiple gifts is not permitted
5. Stock Availability
Bonus gifts are offered while stocks last.
If a bonus gift becomes unavailable:
- We reserve the right to substitute with an item of equal or greater value, or
- Remove the gift from the promotion without prior notice
6. Returns & Refunds
If items are returned and the revised order total falls below the qualifying threshold:
- The bonus gift must be returned unused and unopened, or
- The retail value of the gift will be deducted from the refund
Orders returned in full without the bonus gift may be subject to a partial refund.
7. Promotion Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or end this promotion at any time
- Correct errors related to gift eligibility or fulfilment
- Decline fulfilment in cases of misuse or abuse
8. Country & Currency Variations
Bonus gifts may not be available in all countries or regions. Eligibility, spend thresholds and gift offerings may vary by market, currency and local product values. Where applicable, qualifying spend thresholds will be displayed in the customer's local currency at checkout.
9. Shopify Shop App Orders
Bonus gifts are not currently available on orders placed through the Shopify Shop App. To qualify for a bonus gift, orders must be placed directly through the Maison Koko website.
10. Technical Issues & Gift Removal
Maison Koko uses reasonable efforts to ensure eligible bonus gifts are automatically applied to qualifying orders. However:
- We are not liable for a bonus gift failing to be added, or being removed, due to browser issues, cache/cookie conflicts, app or plugin interference, checkout errors, or other technical circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- Bonus gift items can be manually removed from the cart by the customer, whether intentionally or accidentally, at any point before checkout is completed.
- Where a bonus gift is not present in a completed order — for any reason, including those described above — we have no obligation to retroactively add, ship, or otherwise compensate for the gift. The absence of the gift at the time of order completion will be treated as the customer's final cart selection.
- Customers are encouraged to review their cart carefully before completing checkout to confirm the bonus gift has been applied.
11. Final Notes
Bonus gifts are:
- Non-refundable
- Not redeemable for cash or store credit
- Not valid on wholesale, staff, or special-access orders unless otherwise stated
- Subject to regional availability
EOFY discounts are applied automatically at checkout and cannot be combined with other promotional codes or offers.
