Aside from the incredible taste and quality of their matcha powders, which I’ve been enjoying for the past year, I would love to give a special shout out to their outstanding customer support representative, Jaycel Castro, who is truly an incredible asset and of utmost value to the company. There were some delivery delays with the courier, and whether it was her personal initiative or part of Maison Koko’s policy, I was genuinely impressed by her professionalism and quick response in following up on my order.
Jaycel even called me directly to check if my delivery had arrived, this is what true customer service is all about, and it’s so rare to experience these days. She immediately escalated the issue, kept me updated, and made me feel completely taken care of throughout the process. Great matcha, best matcha latte I tasted that I made myself. I find that the powder tends to clump a bit even with using 70 degree hot water and my electric hand mixer. But it doesn’t bother me much and the iced lattes with this blend always come out amazing!

Seriously delicious & closest match to what I find at those swanky cafes that sell matcha latte in tiny, tiny cup serves for at least $10. At least NOW I can enjoy it in my bigger mug, custom to my tastes & at the fraction of the cost. 1st time buy was during the recent Black Friday Sales; got myself x2 100g bags thinking that's a safe bet.. finished those off in less than a week & dived right in for the 1kg bag! Partner thinks it'll take me forever to finish it off.. I will likely prove them wrong LOL.
The sweetness is Just Right (unlike other competitors where they're overly & unnecessarily sweet), matcha umami taste is smooth, frothes nicely & very nice green. MK's Matcha Latte mix is my Happy Go-between; I still want to have my matcha taste experience & have it as part of my morning & 3pm arvo breaks / rituals, but often I'm too pressed for time to sift it, manually froth it etc (totally respect those who see this as their self-time sacred ritual ) .. MK's Matcha Latte mix is forgiving enough that you don't need to sift it & I use their frother to set up my quick fix. Overall, I'm one matcha-lovin' Happy Camper!

tastes pretty spicy/chai-y which is nice but we tried making the chai multiple ways and it’s still grainy :/

A quick tip that usually helps: mix the powder with a small splash of hot water first to make a smooth paste, then add the rest of your milk or water. This usually removes any texture.
