This is convenient and easy to have in hand to whip up a nice iced Hojicha latte! I personally would prefer a higher ratio of Hojicha to sugar in the latte mix for a stronger Hojicha taste and aroma hence the 4/5 stars. Nonetheless, I reckon if you whip this up into a frappe in Summer, the sweetness would be better balanced with the iciness and it'll be a real treat!

Definitely a 5/5 rather should I say 10/5! This stuff is definitely amazing! I've tried a whole lot of grade's of matcha and nothing comes close! No nutty or bitter taste, just a smooth creamy texture! Definitely gate keeping this!

This is my favourite matcha so far. It has an amazing Japanese green tea taste I've been looking for since I was in Japan. I don't know how to describe it well as I think we all have slightly different taste buds, however, it's the best one for me.

This is a review for the Ceremonial Matcha (Signature Blend) for 2025.
Pros
+ Grassy, seaweed like aroma once mixed with 80C water.
+ Tastes pretty vegetal, light and fresh.
+ Price is average for a 1st harvest. Not expensive, not super cheap.
Cons
- The powder is a lime green.
- I whisked fast for 1 minute but had minimal foam as a result. For context, tea ceremonies whisk matcha for half that time while still producing fuller micro-foam.
- Visible grainy texture once mixed with milk and ice. I could also feel the slight graininess on my tongue.
The cons left me disappointed as the quality is not as good as previous matcha I’ve purchased from Maison Koko at a similar price point - the Ceremonial Matcha (1st harvest) which had much micro-foam and smoothness. The caffeine and antioxidant boost is still appreciated. It’s a solid 3 stars.
